Some of you have asked how you can help with the coffee shop. Many have helped in a variety of different ways already and we are so thankful. We have started to collect things that we can use in the coffee shop. We are looking for donations of furniture: tables, chairs, a leather couch or arm chairs, carts, shelves and a buffet. They can have any finish and can be a bit worn as we plan to paint them black to create some uniformity. We are also collecting white mugs, tea cups and saucers, dessert plates, tea pots, cake plates with glass dome covers. If you like to scout for treasures at yard sales or thrift stores, please be on the lookout for these items.

Finally after lots of brainstorming, great feedback and way too much discussion...we have a name!

So thankful for Caffe Amouri and their amazing staff. When I started thinking about this coffee shop I didn't know anything about coffee except that it tasted good. Michael Amouri and his team have been helping me learn the in and outs of making a great cup of coffee. They let me come and be trained at their shop which was so fun and informative but mostly I am grateful for their patience in answering all my questions.
